The Rev. W. Nigel Meeks, Establishmentarian & Senior Pastor, of Greater Love Christian Ministries was given the vision by God in September of 2008 based on St. John 15:13 which states “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” The ministry was founded on the premise of loving and restoring all people no matter their past or their present situation. God has equipped Pastor Meeks with a passion to provide the necessary tools needed to pursue a healthy productive lifestyle in serving God the Father. Pastor W. Nigel Meeks believes in servitude and protocol. As a servant, he understands that to lead you must efficiently serve. For that reason, he is inspired to teach unity in the kingdom through preparing leaders to compel others to join the kingdom.

Pastor Meeks received his call to ministry in 1992. He was ordained Elder in the Lord’s Church Resurrection Sunday, April 16, 2006 at the New Testament Full Gospel Baptist Church. This was done by the hand of The Rev. Dr. Trudy Foote` in the United Covenant Churches of Christ. He has an anointing that yields Rhema word to those who hunger in spirit & thirst for a sincere relationship with God. For Pastor Meeks, doors have been open to minister the gospel in prisons, hospitals as well as evangelizing the backslider & the non-believer outside the church walls.

In July of 2020 Pastor Meeks moved his membership to the UCOC under the leadership of Archbishop Emilio Alverez. He works actively in the Diocese of the Holy Spirit under Bishop Ronnie Eggleston. After a year of study and formation He was ordained Priest in the UCOC on July 22, 2021.
